Please see the University website for more information: https://www.csudh.edu/registrar/records/

Maintaining Continuing Student Status

Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. An undergraduate student is subject to academic probation if at any time the cumulative grade point average or Dominguez Hills grade point average falls below 2.0. Please see the University Catalog for details.

Removal from Academic Probation

A student shall be removed from academic probation when the overall GPA and the CSUDH GPA are at 2.0 or higher. Please call the CHHSN Advising Office at (310) 243-2120 or (800) 344-5484. The academic advisor will help the student plan to improve their grade point average (GPA).

Academic Disqualification

Please see the University Catalog for a complete description regarding conditions leading to academic disqualification and reinstatement of formerly disqualified students.

Child Development majors will be reinstated only once. If a reinstated student is put into academic probation or disqualification for a second time, the student will no longer be able to major in Child Development.
