alumni programs

The Office of Alumni Programs seeks to advance the university, to promote common interests of its students and its alumni; and to serve as liaison to the university, alumni, and the community. The office coordinates special alumni events, programs and manages volunteers. The Office of Alumni Programs maintain, update and track more than 84,000+ alumni names and addresses to keep them informed about their fellow alumni and campus activities and events. Brochures, newsletters, and other publications are sent annually throughout the year promoting alumni involvement with the university.

Stay Connected

Your connection to CSU Dominguez Hills doesn't have to stop after graduation. The Office of Alumni Programs works to ensure that when students make the transition to alumni, they still feel connected to the Toro Family.

Through free membership in the Alumni Association, alumni receive invitations throughout the year to special events and receptions both on and off campus, a wide variety of benefits and discounts, volunteer and service opportunities, and updates on their fellow alumni. Engagement in the Alumni Association fosters a strong sense of pride in being a Toro, and helps build a solid Toro network in the community, all of which plays a vital role in strengthening CSU Dominguez Hills' position as the premier public institute of higher education in the South Bay.

Alumni participation in the University can go beyond the Alumni Association, with selected members having an active role through the Alumni Advisory Council, which works with the University President and his designees on issues of interest to the University such as advocacy, alumni giving, and programming. The council serves as the voice of alumni to the University and helps build alumni involvement. The council's commitment to the University is demonstrated through their philanthropy, their volunteerism, and mentorship to future alumni.
