Registration Dates and Times

Dates: April 18, 2022, through August 28,2022

Registration Hours:

Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 midnight via
Sunday - system not available

Fees: Payment Deadlines:

  1. May 29, 2022 (students who register April 18, 2022– May 29, 2022)

Fees are due 48 hours after registration (students who register May 30 – September 16, 2022

  1. Fees are due at time of registration (students who register September 16-19, 2022)

Late Registration

For: Continuing students and new students officially admitted to the University who did not participate in Registration
Dates: August 29– September 22, 2022

Registration takes place via MyCSUDH with a Permission Number for the class from the department.  Contact the Registrar’s Office at 310-243-3645 or if you have any questions.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


Fees: Starting the first day of classes, fees are due at the time of Late Registration. An additional $25.00 Late Registration fee will be assessed. Fees must be paid online at MyCSUDH or at the Cashier's Office - WH B270, if open.

Adds (beginning August 29, 2022)

For: Students who have already registered but who wish to add classes

Fees: Payment of difference between part-time and full-time fees are due 48 hours after add(s), if adding classes will result in a change to fee status. Final deadline: September 23, 2022

Drops (beginning August 29, 2022)

For: Students who have already registered but who wish to drop class(es).

Signatures: No signature is required to drop during the drop with refund period.

Fees: Refunds due to complete withdrawal from classes or to a drop from full-time to part-time status will be issued approximately 3 weeks after September 23, 2022; it is not necessary to submit a request for refund of fees.

Non-attendance in class, notifying the instructor, or stopping payment on a check does NOT officially constitute dropping or withdrawing from a course. Students must take the appropriate action via MyCSUDH or in person, as appropriate, to officially drop or withdraw. Drops and withdrawals require the appropriate forms with required signatures to be filed with the Office of Registrar ( by the published deadline.
