About Alliance

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools is the largest non-profit charter organization in Los Angeles, serving 12,500 students across 28 open enrollment public charter middle and high schools. In Alliance’s 13th year as an organization, 92% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and 98% are Latino or African American. Alliance schools significantly outperform traditional public schools across almost every measure; for example, 95% of Alliance students graduate high school in four years and 95% of Alliance graduates have been accepted to college. In addition, 14 Alliance High Schools were recognized in the 2016 Best High School ranking by US News & World Report, with 6 ranking among the top 10% of high schools in LA County! Alliance has recently been highlighted in the news for our college focus—you can see this article in The Huffington Post highlighting our groundbreaking work to set our students up for success in college and beyond. We are committed to hiring the most dedicated, qualified, and talented teachers, school leaders, and staff to join our team and serve our students.

Why work at Alliance?

Alliance is seeking teachers who are passionate about education excellence, committed to transforming the lives of children in communities where they are needed most, and want to join a team "where Exceptional is the Rule". Alliance teachers don’t have to choose between the benefits of a small community school and a large, cutting-edge organization—teachers enjoy the resources and supports of a large network with the close-knit feel of a small school. Teaching at Alliance is an ideal position for educators who have a deep passion for teaching and seek out professional development opportunities to perfect their craft. Alliance is seeking teachers who want to collaborate, share knowledge, and mentor one another, creating a culture of high expectations and strong results for students.
