CSUDH President Parham greeting students at Convocation

Join us for New Student Convocation, an annual tradition where faculty, alumni, and staff gather to celebrate and welcome new first-year, transfer, and graduate students to the Toro Nation and to mark the beginning of their destination to graduation.

New Student Convocation has a formal and informal component. The formal component is where university officials offer words of welcome and share their thoughts and experiences with new students. The informal component is designed to give new Toros an opportunity to participate in activities designed to make new friends and connect with faculty and staff.
