About the Position

Reporting directly to area Managers or Supervisor, these positions will work in different areas of the Dining Services Department at the CSU Dominguez Hills Foundation.

These positions must be flexible in scheduling with the ability to work in different locations within the dining services department. All positions play a critical role in assisting with controls such as inventory control, waste control, safety and sanitation (must be certified) while maintaining the overall satisfaction level of customers.

The ideal candidate is a mission-driven multi-tasker who can simultaneously focus on the day to day tasks while staying focused on important details and customer needs.  The individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.  He/she will have the ability to work independently on tasks assigned from to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities.  

This position is a part-time hourly (seasonal) position without benefits.

About the Position:

This position works directly with the Chef in assisting with daily production of the restaurant line. This position also assists the lead cook and/or chef in the prep of foods for distribution in all areas of Campus Dining Services including: DH Catering, Club 1910, Union Grind Coffee, Toro Take Out and DH Sports Lounge.
