FALL 2020

Notification for all International Applicants

International Undergraduate Applications open for Spring 2020 on August 1, 2019 and for Fall 2020 on October 1, 2019.  Apply online at Cal State Apply.

In order to meet immigration timelines, International Applicants residing outside of the USA are encouraged to submit all documents by October 15th for the Spring term and by May 1st for the Fall term. 

The following programs are online only and do not qualify for I-20 issuance: Humanities (HUX), Online MPA, Online NCRP, Online Quality Assurance, and Systems Engineering.

The following programs are closed to International Undergraduate Applicants: Applied Studies, all Certificate Programs, Clinical Science, Nursing, and Quality Assurance.

The following programs are closed to International Graduate Applicants: All Certificate Programs, Education School Leadership CASLA, Interdisciplinary Studies, Marital & Family Therapy, MSW-Part Time, Nursing, and School & College Counseling.

Final Document Deadline: All official high school and college transcripts through Summer 2019 must be received by the Admissions Office by this date. Check your Campus Account at My.CSUDH.edu for the latest information on what documents you are still missing.

Fall 2020

Priority Application Date: The priority application period is October 1 to November 30, 2019.

 April 15

You must be admitted by April 15th to apply for housing.

Intent to Enroll and New Student Orientation Deadline: For a Step by Step Guide to submitting your Intent to Enroll Deposit & Register for New Student Orientation* please click here.

To qualify for the intent to enroll deposit waiver, you must have filed a 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act application by March 2, 2020 with CSUDH school code 001141, and received a Student Aid Report (SAR) with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0. Students who filed a FAFSA or California Dream Act application after March 2 will not be eligible for the waiver. There are no exceptions.

The Intent to Enroll deposit AND New Student Orientation fee are non-refundable, even if your admission is revoked. Initial admission decisions are conditional and based on self-reported information. Final admission confirmation is validated upon the submission of final official transcripts by July 15, 2020.

*Students admitted to the following programs are not required to attend General NSO or pay the General NSO Fee: Applied Studies, Nursing, Quality Assurance, and all Certificate Programs. You will receive information directly from your academic department if a program-specific orientation is required.
