International Application Instructions

FALL 2018


The following programs are online only and do not qualify for I-20 issuance: Online MBA, Online MPA, Online NCRP, HUX, and Quality Assurance.

The following programs are closed to international applicants: Applied Studies, School and College Counseling, Clinical Science, Education School Leadership: CASLA, MA/MS Interdisciplinary Studies, Marital and Family Therapy, MSW-Part Time, Nursing, Special Education, all Certificate Programs and all Credential Programs.

Many Graduate Programs require an additional application and/or other documentation for admission consideration. Please be aware that graduate application deadlines and documents differ by program. For application steps, dates, and requirements specific to your program of interest click here!

International Applicants residing outside of the USA are encouraged to submit all documents May 1, 2018 in order to meet immigration timelines.

While we will continue to admit as many applicants as possible. Due to the limited number of spaces available, applicants are encouraged to apply early and submit all documents prior to deadlines. Your application will be withdrawn if deadlines are not met.

Complete and accurate application information is essential: Failure to file complete, accurate, and authentic application documents may result in denial of admission, cancellation of registration or academic credit, suspension, or expulsion (Section 41301, Article 1.1, Title 5, California Code of Regulations).

Email Address - IMPORTANT Make sure you activate and monitor your ToroMail email account. Important and critical admission information will be sent to this address. Make sure you review your account regularly and do not block messages from the campus.

Official transcripts are required from all previously attended colleges and Universities, including the school you are currently attending, whether coursework was completed or not (even if the courses appear on another transcript). This includes transcripts for ESL coursework.  Also, the Baccalaureate degree must be conferred by Summer 2018 for Fall 2018 applicants.

If academic records are not in English, certified English translations of all transcripts and supporting educational documents must also be submitted.  Translation must be word-for-word (i.e. literal) translations.  Educational documents must show the complete record of courses completed thus far.  Partial records or excerpts are not acceptable.  It is important that your academic records and examination scores be sent as early as possible.  

Your application will be withdrawn if deadlines are not met.

Academic records received by CSU-Dominguez Hills will become the property of the University and will not be returned to the student or forwarded to any other institution or agency.

ELECTRONIC TRANSCRIPTS ARE PREFERRED. Paper transcripts may be sent to the CSUDH Office of Admissions & Records, 1000 E. Victoria Street, Carson, CA 90747.
