University Outreach & School Relations is committed to assisting students achieve their academic goals. Our office is often the first contact students encounter when we visit high schools, attend college fairs, and host campus events throughout the year. Our counselors are always ready to answer questions and provide information. Below are some of the areas in which we serve:


Campus Tours

Join the herd and take a guided tour with a current CSUDH student. This is the perfect opportunity for visitors to gain knowledge about CSUDH resources, services, and student life. Campus Tours offers prospective student tours and group tours for community college, high school, middle school, and elementary school students.

Early Assessment Program

Learning early about CAASP scores and readiness for college English and Math is important. Although you may have passed your high school courses, many students are still not prepared for college-level English and Math when they enter a university. This is true even for students with strong grade point averages from high school.

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is a great opportunity for incoming students to learn about CSUDH resources and services and meet academic advisors. Students will begin building lifelong relationships with faculty and peers while learning what it takes to be a successful Toro. NSO is a mandatory enrollment requirement for all freshman, transfer, and returning students.
