In 2021, CSUDH received a Minority Science Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP) grant from the Department of Education. This goal of this three-year program is to increase minority representation in STEM majors and careers through focused mentoring, Research opportunities.
OUR MISSION:
To provide first-generation, underrepresented students especially females with opportunities to succeed STEM degrees
To provide vigorous and cost-effective outreach and retention activities to all school and university students
OUR GOALS:
Increase and retain the number of Hispanic and minority students, particularly females, attaining engineering and science degrees
Increase the production of a continuous stream of highly competent and well- qualified minority STEM professionals.
