David Nasatir holds the position of Professor Emeritus at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) since 1994, and prior to that he was Professor of the Behavioral Science Graduate Program from 1976 to 1994. During his tenure at CSUDH, Professor Nasatir also held the positions of Chair of the Behavioral Science Graduate Program in 1975-1981, 1983-1985 and 1994; and Director of Social Systems Research Center from 1992-1994.

Professor Nasatir has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California Berkeley, an M.A. in Sociology from Stanford University and his S.B. in General Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Professor Nasatir has taught graduate level social science courses at eight universities in North and South America including University of California, Berkeley where he is Visiting Professor Emeritus in the Department of Sociology.

He has published extensively, presented the results of his original research at numerous scientific and professional meetings throughout the world and recognized with the award of a position as a Senior Fulbright Scholar.
