Welcome to this year’s Virtual Community Engagement Symposium. The annual symposium is an event to celebrate and highlight community engagement in our campus community.

· Background and collaborative learning purpose of this learning community

· Highlight data collected on Community Engagement in the university

· Goals, objectives, and progress on the development of the Community Engagement Minor

· Questions and Actions from attendees, including opportunities for small group discussions.

Presentation on three creative service learning classes from three different academic disciplines. Presenters will share how they infused service learning pedagogy into their classrooms and how they navigated through the challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions from our presenters.

An interactive conversation between faculty, community partners, and students is an opportunity for faculty and community partners to gather in conversation and share their experiences. Community partners will share about their experiences working with students and faculty in the past and for faculty members to brainstorm ways that they can integrate this type of engagement in their courses.
