County residents. 211 LA's innovative programs are examples of the best practices in assessing, coordinating and integrating the health and human services.  With one phone call, clients are directly screened and connected with the services they need for themselves or their children, including shelters, meals, autism screening, veterans' services, substance abuse programs, health care, mental health services, and access to jobs.

The South Bay Coalition to End Homelessness has developed three pocket guides that provide contact information on a variety of services, including housing, alcohol & drug recovery programs, free meals, free groceries, laundry services, health care, mental health services, teen & youth services, public agency contacts, emergency services, and more.

PATH and South Bay Cities   

The South Bay Cities Council of Governments has partnered with PATH to reach out to people living on the streets, link them to services, and help them move off the streets and into permanent homes.
