Support Services

Student Health & Psychological Services provide current CSUDH students with no- and low-cost basic healthcare, including screenings and immunizations, delivered by licensed healthcare professionals. Students also have access to professional counseling, therapy and personal development services and resources to help cope with personal challenges, conflict, crisis and other mental health issues.

Located on campus, the CSUDH Career Center provides career development and planning services for students, including assistance with job searches and interview preparation, résumé-writing workshops, career fairs and internship opportunities.

CSUDH has a thriving community of international students. To better serve these students, International Student Services assists with navigating the university and our programs, completing the admission process, coordinating travel and resolving student visa issues, transitioning to life in the United States and more.

The Child Development Center at CSUDH provides affordable, quality child care and development services for the children of university students, faculty and staff. Programs led by child development professionals and volunteers are designed to promote confidence and self-worth in children and to prepare children to become lifelong learners.

CSUDH supports the academic success of students through an array of academic support in and outside of the classroom. Our on-campus Toro Learning Center provides one-on-one and group tutoring and academic assistance to help with coursework and study strategies. Other unique programs include Upward Bound, the McNair Scholarship, Early Start, Summer Bridge Academy, Encounter to Excellence, the Educational Opportunity Program and the Male Success Alliance.
