Academic Advising

UBMS offers one-on-one academic advising to help participants meet their academic and college-preparatory goals. Advising sessions are conducted by the project director or the project advisor. The sessions include, but not limited to reviewing A-G graduation requirements, CSUs and UCs eligibility requirements, completing academic progress plans, SAT/ACT tutoring, and college/career planning.

Participants are required to meet with the director or advisor at least once a semester for academic advising. Depending on the participant's situation, the director or advisor may require that they attend additional advising sessions to meet the goals set forth by the student, parent, or UBMS team.

Additional advising sessions may be requested by the participant. Participants can schedule an advising appointment by contacting the project director or project advisor via email or phone. Please visit the Contact Us page for UBMS staff contact information.
