Web Content Management System (WCMS)
Official CSUDH Web sites will be managed through the use of an enterprise Web Content Management System (WCMS). Campus sites are currently being migrated to the new WCMS individually by department/school and division/college.
If your division or college is currently undergoing migration, please refrain from submitting non-urgent Web Content Update Requests.
For all requests, please plan for a longer than usual delay during this time.
This is due to the need for content updates to be duplicated in multiple locations and synchronized across servers.
Your department/school will be notified once the migration is in progress and again when completed. (Migration times will vary greatly depending on site size, files, structure, organization, and complexity.)
After migration, your department/school will be asked to review and approve the new site and ensure the content is up to date. Once approved, the new site will go "live" and replace your current site. (The URL to the old site will automatically be redirected to the new.)
A training on the WCMS will then be scheduled with your department/school. Once completed, staff members may begin processing updates to their site on their own.
