The Program

This seminar will provide clear and usable information and management tools, processes and techniques for dealing with workforce management — particularly managing a remote workforce — under COVID-related federal and state mandated laws, regulations and rules governing business operations, workforce/employee benefits and rights, employer obligations and other requirements. Specifically:

  1. Understand the various laws and regulations imposed by federal, state and local authorities and how they impact business operations and management actions;
  2. Understand what management actions are required and how to effectively implement those actions;
  3. How to establish a remote workforce system, polices, procedures and processes to effectively continue operations of the enterprise;
  4. Providing for effective employee management and support in a remote work situation and/or environment.

What You Will Learn

Participants will be able to:

  1. Know the laws, regulations and rules governing their workplace and how to apply those legal controls and operate effectively under them.
  2. Establish remote worker systems, programs, policies and procedures in the COVID-19 regulated environment.
  3. Apply effective management approaches, techniques and actions in support of remotely working employees to ensure employee productivity, efficiency and well-being.
  4. Create programs specific to their workplace for the management of their remote workforce and for the integration of on-site and remote workers and management.
  5. Utilize the challenges of managing a remote workforce under COVID-19 controls as an opportunity for increased and improved workforce communication and team building.
  6. Identify and utilize external resources to support business operations and managing a remote workforce.

This course is tailored to company-wide executives, managers, human resource professionals and staff, office managers, supervisors and leads, and other interested individuals who can gain value from the presentation.
