INTENSIVE ENGLISH PROGRAM (IEP)

IEP offers an eight-week Intensive English Program six times a year in exciting Los Angeles for ESL students with academic or professional goals, including passing the TOEFL for entrance into an American university. The 21-26 hours per week IEP offers a coordinated program of conversation, grammar, writing, reading/vocabulary, pronunciation and listening. Students from all over the world enroll in this multi-level program and can continue to improve their skills by advancing from session to session. Qualified students from outside the U.S. are eligible for a student visa. Individual courses may also be taken by part-time students. A Certificate of Achievement is awarded after successful completion of at least one eight-week session.

Study Abroad America (SAA)
One or two semester program which allows international students to study at CSU Dominguez Hills in Los Angeles. If you are an international student who wants to study in America for a semester or two, Study Abroad America can provide you the opportunity to enjoy a great cultural and academic experience. This program allows students to experience American culture, study in challenging classes, enjoy the incredible Southern California climate and make lifetime friends.

TOEFL AND IELTS WAIVER
Interested in applying to a CSUDH degree program, but you don't have a IELTS or TOEFL score? ALCP offers a year round Intensive English Program with six start times per year in exciting Los Angeles for ESL students with academic or professional goals, including passing the TOEFL or IELTS for entrance into an American university.

Don't want to take the TOEFL or the IELTS test? ALCP offers a university approved TOEFL Waiver program which meets the English requirements for university admission. Students enrolled ALCP's coordinated program of conversation, grammar, writing, reading/vocabulary, pronunciation and listening may be approved to take university classes. Students who succesfully meet the university requirements of the TOEFL waiver program can be approved to meet the English Admission requirement without a TOEFL or IELTS score.
