Aeronautics Community Engagement Impact Research (ACEIR) 2.0

Full Proposals due at 11:59 pm Eastern Time on June 16, 2025

The NASA Office of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Engagement (OSTEM) Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) Aeronautics Community Engagement Impact Research (ACEIR 2.0) activity is an opportunity for Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) to conduct interdisciplinary research into the impacts and benefits of future air transportation technology and infrastructure on communities.

MSIs will apply their unique expertise and community relationships to this area of local, regional, and national interest. Working with the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD), MSIs will contribute to developing safe, community-based, financially sustainable, and replicable approaches to and implementation of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) to support the future of aviation for all.

MSIs will engage their faculty, students, and community partners in research through MUREP ACEIR Institutes, build capacity at their institutions through innovative programming, and contribute to broadening the future STEM workforce skilled in Advanced Air Mobility.
