California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) faculty who teach the freshman seminar (UNV 101) discuss the exciting ways they engage first year students. Included in this video are Dr. Keisha Paxton (Psychology), Dr. Nancy Erbe (Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding), Dr. Annemarie Perez (Interdisciplinary Studies), and Dr. Hal Weary (Music).

All the effort and faculty’s extensive work that went into this new normal virtual orientation made me feel welcome. It also made me realize if they can come to terms with the idea of this new normal of virtual education, so can I.
