TO APPLY:
Students must access Toro Link using their CSUDH username and password, and join the College of Extended and International Education organization page. The applications are located under the Forms tab and students will view and submit the scholarship applications through Toro Link. All applications and documents must be uploaded to Toro Link. Emailed or post-marked applications will not be accepted.
Please review the scholarships and eligibility requirements listed below.
- You may apply to multiple scholarships as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.
- The same personal statement may be used, if applicable. The personal statement is usually one to two pages, double-spaced, and can describe your need for financial assistance, your academic or extracurricular activities, leadership roles, volunteer work, etc.
- CSUDH unofficial transcripts must be uploaded to the applications (even if this is your first semester).
- One (1) submission per scholarship is allowed. Use caution when attaching documents. Once your application is accepted in Toro Link, you will not be able to make any changes.
All students who apply within the Spring 2019 application period will be contacted by 4/26/19, indicating their selection status. Students selected as the awardees will be expected to submit a thank you letter for the donor(s) if applicable.

— For Study Abroad students of outstanding achievement; for the purposes of studying abroad (airfare costs) | open | - already have been selected for the International Program by CSUDH
- possess a minimum 3.0 GPA
- be highly motivated in broadening their international experience (preference given to students with limited prior experience living outside the U.S.)
- demonstrate a need for financial assistance (to be screened and reviewed by Scholarship subcommittee)
- have completed a minimum of 12 CSUDH residential (on-campus) units
- be a continuing student in the 2019-2020 academic year

- have no relation to any faculty member
- have been previously enrolled full-time for at least two (2) years as a CSUDH graduate or undergraduate student majoring in Spanish/Hispanic Studies, prior to applying for the Del Amo Scholarship
- have expressed a strong desire to pursue a professional career in Spanish/Hispanic Studies
- have proficiency in both Spanish and English languages
- be in good academic standing with the University
- be a continuing student in the 2019-2020 academic year
