Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan

The Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan is designed to protect employees from infectious disease resulting from exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.

Many job classifications are exposed to blood and other biological hazards during the course of their work. Custodians, athletic trainers, police officers, physicians, and nurses are just a few groups on campus that must be trained to follow specific protocols to reduce the risk of exposure to disease.
