The Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Graduation Celebration is an annual graduation event that recognizes our recent graduates and their academic and personal accomplishments as they complete their student career here at California State University, Dominguez Hills. The API Graduation Celebration is a smaller event, not to replace Commencement, and allows an opportunity to engage with others within the CSUDH API community, connect with future support systems, share in common experiences, and foster a sense of belonging and pride. The API Graduation Celebration is open to all students, regardless of ethnicity.

The Frederick Douglass and Mary McLeod Bethune Africana Graduation Celebration is designed to provide students, family, friends, and the university community with an opportunity to participate in this African-centered program. The celebration acknowledges the scholastic achievements and accomplishments of the graduating students and also recognizes contributions made by those elders in our community who continue to exemplify strong leadership. The Douglass Bethune Graduation Celebration is open to all students, regardless of ethnicity.

The Latine Graduation Celebration is designed to celebrate and honor the perseverance of Chicano/a/x/e/ Latino/a/x/e graduates, families, and community members at CSU Dominguez Hills. Our cultural celebration highlights family, community, and the shared struggles across communities of color. This celebration seeks to celebrate and create visibility for historically minoritized groups from Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and the greater African Diaspora. We celebrate the diversity of our Latino/a/x/e communities. The Latine cultural celebration is open to all students regardless of ethnicity and gender. Bienvenides!

The Lavender Graduation Celebration honors our graduates in the LGBTQ+ community. The event celebrates the academic achievements, leadership contributions, and personal journeys of our queer and trans students. The Lavender Graduation Celebration is free and open to all students.
To participate, graduating students must register by Sunday, April 30th at 11:59pm.
