The Computer Science Promise is a cohort-based pathway for newly admitted freshmen interested in obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. The cohort-based model provides students with a learning community where students majoring in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science take the majority of their courses together, study together, participate in enrichment workshops, receive specialized tutoring, academic guidance, internships, and need based scholarships only awarded to students in the cohort.
To participate, students must:
- Complete the admission and enrollment process for CSUDH
- Submit the CS Promise Application
- Participate in a group interview
- Receive approval of the program application
The CS Promise Application is no longer requiring an Essay. Instead, we are asking that you answer 4 questions in 3 to 5 sentences.
