In the 2020-21 academic year, the Faculty Development Center launched the Lunch & Learn Series, focusing on specific topics to aid in the transition to remote learning. Now that we are also teaching in-person again, new topics have been added to assist with the transition back to classroom-based learning. Held on Fridays at noon throughout the semester, these one-hour sessions cover topics such as Transparent Assignments, Time Management & Teaching, Classroom Tech, and more.

October 27: Designing Better Discussion Boards
This session will help you create more effective Discussion Boards. We will also cover rubrics to assess your Discussion Boards.
November 3: Getting ready for Spring Semester
This session will focus on setting you up for success for the Spring Semester. Topics include: Time management, Grading strategies, Using data to plan your future course.
