Programs

College Program

Throughout the year, MSA hosts a variety of programs and services designed to equip our undergraduate men with the tools necessary for post-secondary success. These include workshops, peer-led study halls, leadership development retreats, civic engagement opportunities, graduate school exploration, and cultural field trips. The objective is to create an effective, achievement-based environment that supports and empowers young men of color to succeed and persist in higher education.

Middle School & High School Program

In an effort to improve college access and success for boys and men of color, the Male Success Alliance partners with local middle schools and high schools to mentor approximately 250 students in the community. Each year, MSA hires college members to work at local middle schools and high schools to provide additional support for men of color during the instructional day. Focused on college preparation and MSA targets to some of the most challenging and underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles County including Compton, Carson, Torrance, South Los Angeles, and Long Beach.
