MSA Programs

College Program

In an effort to improve college access and success for boys and men of color, the Male Success Alliance partners with local middle schools and high schools to mentor approximately 250 students in the community. Each year, MSA hires college members to work at local middle schools and high schools to provide additional support for men of color during the instructional day. Throughout the year, MSA hosts a variety of programs and services designed to equip men with the tools necessary for post-secondary success. These include workshops, study halls, leadership development retreats, civic engagement opportunities, college visits, and cultural field trips. The objective is to create a positive, achievement-based environment that supports and encourages young men of color to succeed and persist in higher education.
