The Toro CARE grant provides assistance to students who are struggling with a personal crisis or an unforeseen situation. Qualified students are rendered assistance in the form of single, one-time awards. The Toro CARE funding is not intended to provide ongoing relief for recurring expenses, and awards are not loans that students are expected to repay. The value of the award will range in response to the needs of the student and the availability of funding. Typical awards range up to $1,000 per student. Students may not receive more than one award unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Review Process
Once submitted, you'll receive a confirmation message.
Your application will be reviewed by a committee and may require additional documentation requested via email. This meeting allows us to be more familiar with your situation and collect any additional info.
Most students are required to submit verification documents to their assigned coordinator with Toro ID # (ex. 012345678).
The process may take approximately 1-2 weeks once you’ve submitted your documents and had a meeting with a CARE coordinator.
If you have any questions about your application status, please reach out to the CARE coordinator you met with.
