CSUDH International Virtual Exchange Learning (IVEL)

International Virtual Exchange Learning (IVEL)International Virtual Exchange Learning (IVEL) creates space for professors and students from different cultural backgrounds to connect and team up on academic work while residing in their home countries. IVEL allows professors and students to have a meaningful cultural interaction and educational experiences with a global base. IVEL uses technology to bring innovative experiential collaboration allowing institutions to work together at minimal cost while being accessible anywhere around the world.

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

International Virtual Exchange Learning (PLOs):

  • Demonstrate knowledge of diversity and cross-cultural competencies in global educational settings and ways to use that knowledge to promote equity and justice at local and global levels. (PLO 1)
  • Demonstrate disciplinary knowledge and skills. (PLO 2)
  • Demonstrate critical digital literacy as preparation for lifelong learning and global citizenship. (PLO 3)
  • Demonstrate critical and creative thinking and apply reasoning to address complex challenges and everyday problems, locally and globally. (PLO 4)
  • Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration in cross-cultural contexts, both orally and in writing, using digital tools. (PLO 5)
