CSUDH receives thousands of applications during the filing period. Over the next few months, special attention will be given to reviewing each application. Initial admission decisions will be based on the information you reported on your application. In early February, admission decisions will be emailed to you and available on MyCSUDH, your student portal.
In the meantime, there are steps you can take to make sure you have a smooth admissions experience.
1. Go to: csudh.edu/username
2. Enter your 9-digit CSUDH Student ID number. The ID number was emailed to you.
3. Enter your 8-digit Date of Birth (MMDDYYYY format).
4. Indicate whether you have a Social Security Number (SSN), YES or NO.
5. Proceed to step 2.
1. Once you have retrieved your username and temporary password, please click on Set Up My Security Questions to continue.
2. Enter your username and the password, and LOG IN.**
3. On your PROFILE page, click the option to CHANGE PASSWORD. This will take you to the Change Password screen.
4. Click SAVE after updating the password. A confirmation prompt will flash.
5. Click SAVE on the PROFILE page again. Click on your name in upper right, select LOGOUT.
6. Visit my.csudh.edu to log in and access your campus account.

**After login, if the page indicates “You don’t have any apps set up,” please click on your name on the upper right, then PROFILE.
Check your campus account frequently and complete your To-Do list. Your student portal reflects the most up-to-date admissions and registration information. Additional items may be added to your To-Do list at any time. We recommend checking once a week for updates.
If you are admitted, courses you listed on your application as in progress or planned must be completed with grades of C- or higher by the end of the spring 2021 term. You must also maintain your reported overall grade point average. If you earn a grade of D or F during your senior year, or if your grade point average drops below what was reported on your application, or if you misreported a required course, any offer of admission may be withdrawn.
If you are admitted, courses you listed on your application as in progress or planned must be completed with grades of C- or higher by the end of the spring 2021 term, including 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter) 30 of the 60-semester units (45 quarter), must be in General Education and Completion of the "Golden Four. You must also maintain good academic standing at the last institution attended, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in transferrable courses. If you do not meet the requirements or if you misreported a required course, any offer of admission may be withdrawn.

If you are denied admission, or if you miss an admission deadline, it is unlikely that our decision will be reversed on appeal unless you have serious and extenuating circumstances. Learn about our appeals process.
