Academic Advisement

Academic Advising for Kinesiology students

We have Academic Advisors who are full-time staff members that work with students on both General Education (G.E.) courses and requirements for the major.  We also have designated full-time faculty members who advise about the major, its requirements, and basic career information.  It's recommended that Kinesiology advisors meet with both a staff Academic Advisor and a Faculty Advisor once a semester.

Mrs. Thomas is a full-time staff member who specializes in assisting Kinesiology students with academic plans, G.E. advising, and major advising.

Faculty Advisors

Faculty Advisors are full-time faculty members who provide advising on the content of the major, do light career advising, and can help with scheduling when to take courses in the major.  They do not advise on G.E. courses.
