Areas of Specialization: Philosophy of Religion, Ethics and Epistemology, Areas of Competency: World Religions, 19th Century Thought and the Bible Dr. Pawar is currently working on a book titled, “Trusting Others, Trusting God: Concepts of Belief, Faith and Rationality”. She received her doctorate from The Claremont Graduate University in Philosophy of Religion and Theology in 2002. She recently presented a paper, “How Can We Trust God?” to the Department of Philosophy Colloquium. She teaches Critical Reasoning as well as the religion courses offered by Department of Philosophy, including Comparative Religion and Understanding the Bible.
