Registration dates and deadlines are available here.
Read your Academic Calendar! It can be found in our Online Class Schedule for each term. We recommend you print it out and put it in your notebook each semester. This calendar contains important information about registration deadlines, payment deadlines, deadlines to drop or withdraw from classes, term beginning and ending dates, and campus holidays. It is your responsibility to know all of these dates.
This information was provided in your Congratulations letter. If you are not sure of your username, you can go to my.CSUDH.edu and click on the Forgot Your Username? link. Enter your social security number and the system will return your username. If you successfully activated your account when you applied and created and answered your security questions, you will be able to reset your password by correctly answering your security questions. If you have never activated your account, it is probably your 6-digit date of birth (mmddyy).

Failure to apply for admission or register by the published deadlines in the previous semester may result in not receiving a registration appointment.
The my.CSUDH.edu portal provides the opportunity for you to check for open classes in the Student Center. Use the Search for Classes option to look for open courses, to view courses with waitlists, or to view any course modifications (all updated in real time).

Registration fees are as follows:
Registration fees vary for undergraduate students, graduate students, and qualified credential students. Check the Schedule of Classes each semester for the detailed listing of fees. State University fees are assessed based on the number of units that you add. The part-time rate is assessed on 0-6 units and the full-time rate is assessed on 7.0 units and over. Students who register for classes once the term begins will be assessed a $25.00 late registration fee.

The deadline to pay for classes varies, depending on the date a student registers. Also, if a student signs up for an installment payment plan, there are several deadlines to observe. Please refer to the Academic Calendar for information regarding fee due dates. See the Fees section of the Class Schedule for detailed information.
Some courses have lab fees or equipment fees attached to them. These fees are mandatory if you enroll in the course. They can be identified in the Class Schedule by footnote 90 or 99.
