Background

Dr. Ratanasiripong’s professional background is in maternal and newborn nursing, women’s health, and health promotion/disease prevention. In the past 15 years, her work experiences have been in clinical trials, health promotion, leadership/management, and teaching. Dr. Ratanasiripong participated in clinical trials as a sub-investigator and coordinator in vaccine and dermatological trials for 6 years.

Research Interest

Based on her belief that health-promoting behaviors should start before one encounters serious health problems, Dr. Ratanasiripong’s research interest involves physical needs, psychosocial health, and quality of life among the young and older adult population. Dr. Ratanasiripong also collaboratively works with other faculty researchers in the U.S. and Thailand in order to assess and help young and older adults deal with stress and life events by providing various interventions, including biofeedback.
