Bio
Marquessa Rhone is an administrative professional with over 18 years of expertise in executive administrative services, project delivery and management support. As a US Coast Guard Veteran, she proudly served in various duty stations including the USCGC HEALY (WAGB-20) Polar Ice Breaker and Office of the Commandant and Vice Commandant (Service Chief) in Washington, DC. She was honorably discharged in 2017, leaving the service having earned the US Coast Guard Commendation, Achievement and Arctic Service Medals as well as marksman designation. Her notable civilian work as the executive assistant / project support specialist for the Explorations and Space Communications department of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD furthered NASA’s core values of safety, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and inclusion. Lastly, In support of her passion to address housing insecurities in vulnerable populations, Marquessa serviced the homeless veteran community of Los Angeles county as a case manager / peer support specialists with Volunteers of America Los Angeles.
