Student Organizations

SOTA intends to foster the personal and professional development of occupational therapy students and interested CSUDH students, encourage community service and educational excellence, and advocate for students and professional issues. The organization strives to build a sense of community for Occupational therapy students and interested CSUDH students on campus and to create mentoring and networking opportunities as well as social opportunities for students outside the classroom. The organization strives for public recognition of Occupational therapy as a career, participates in community service projects, promote awareness of current trends in the field, promote environments and experiences which illicit teamwork with other Occupational Therapists, organizations, and other health professionals.
