Engagement

The Office of Sustainability engages with students, staff, faculty, and the larger community on a regular basis. If you identify additional opportunities to promote sustainability on campus, and would like to partner, please reach out.

Sustainability Committee Meetings:  Typically held on the last Monday of the month from 2-3pm, these townhall-style meetings are open to the campus community and serve as a forum for updating the campus on current sustainability initiatives and to brainstorm new ideas.  Contact the Office of Sustainability to join the e-mail listserv for these meetings.

Academic Infusion:  Interested in guest presenters and speakers for your class or general content on sustainability topics?  Please contact the Office of Sustainability to schedule a presentation and/or for resources.

Outreach Events: Do you want the Office of Sustainability to provide training on a sustainability topic or provide an educational booth at your event?  Please contact the Office of Sustainability to schedule.

Volunteering:  The Sustainability Club provides opportunities for students to volunteer on campus sustainability projects.  Sign up for events and/or the club via their Torolink page.

The Campus Urban Farm also provides volunteer opportunities all year-round. Visit their website and subscribe to their e-newsletter to find out about their current operating hours and opportunities:  http://eepurl.com/drGE6X
