Research & Studies

The office supports initiatives across campus and through committee work. This has recently included helping answer questions raised across campus from Enrollment Management, Strategic Planning, Student Success Committee, Associate Dean’s Council, and others. Questions typically include comparing outcomes and student success (e.g., retention, gpa, attempted: completed course outcomes). Studies often look at equity gaps by race, ethnicity, Pell eligibility status, generation status (first or continuing generation), sex, college or major, institution of origin, geographic region, or level of preparation. Other research includes predictive analysis or scenario modeling. Trend analyses are also commonly provided for subsets of students, especially for grant funded projects.
