Komal Shah Kapoor is a lecturer in the Communications Department at California State University, Dominguez Hills. She holds an interdisciplinary PhD. in Speech Communication, Consumer Marketing and Anthropology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Her MA is in Organizational Communication and Public Relations. She has over ten years of national and international corporate experience in public relations, qualitative consumer research, brand strategy, healthcare market research, and entrepreneurship. She has taught a variety of applied communication courses at different colleges such as Pepperdine, UCLA, Kean University, Wayne State University and MICA. Kapoor is also the CEO of SpeakerPost, a social media networking portal that connects educators with industry experts for volunteer guest speaking engagements.
