- CSUDH is requiring COVID-19 testing for students in Housing and/or taking face-to-face classes. Read details on the COVID-19 Surveillance Testing page.
- November 20: Everyone is required to complete a symptom self-check prior to visiting campus. To assist with the check, there is a screening tool on the iToros app. Read the Symptom Self-Check section on the Health and Safety page for full details.
- Free COVID-19 testing is available in the City of Carson, in LA County, and in Long Beach.

- December 8, 2020: CSUDH is extending its late withdrawal deadline to December 23, 2020. Visit the UAC website for full details.
- Gov. Newsom announced new Regional Stay at Home orders for regions whose ICU capacity dips below 15 percent. As a result, effective Dec. 6, the new regional order is in effect through Dec. 27 in the Southern California region.
- September 18: GWAR requirement is suspended for Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021.

- September 1: The Office of Community Standards has released guidelines regarding the Fall 2020 semester [PDF].

- April 17: The CSU has suspended the standardized testing requirement for the 2021-22 academic year. Read the full press release [PDF].
- April 15: The Student Health Center has onsite staff hours of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tele-medicine, including mental health services, is available from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- April 14: Fall 2020 Registration is now open.
- April 14, 2020: The Toro Food Pantry is no longer distributing bags of food. An announcement will be made when more bags become available.
