Workers’ Compensation is a mandatory benefit, paid by the employer which provides compensation and medical benefits to employees who are injured or become ill as a direct result of their employment.
The benefits are designed to provide medical treatment and partially replace wages while an employee is recovering from their injury or illness.
Workers’ Compensation is highly regulated and time sensitive, therefore all injuries and illnesses must be immediately reported to the supervisor, manager or lead.
