Writing Center

Due to COVID-19, office staff will be working remotely. However, in order to ensure that we continue to meet your needs and respond in a timely manner to your questions, please feel free to contact us at gstudies@csudh.edu. In your email, please provide your first and last name, CSUDH ID number, phone number, and your questions.

The Writing Center offers free services to all CSUDH students. Their goal is to contribute to the development of better writers, and assist with the skills and development of critical thinking, drafting, and revising that lead to clearly expressed positions, coherent arguments, and persuasive reasoning. The Writing Center is offering all services remotely. 

Hours & Location

The CSUDH Writing Center is open for the Spring 2021 semester January 25th - May 21st

The Writing Center will be closed:

  • Monday, February 15th (Presidents' Day holiday)
  • Monday, March 29th through Friday, April 2nd (Spring Break)

Hours

  • Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • (Synchronous online tutoring services will be unavailable Wednesday 12:00-1:00pm. Asynchronous eTutoring will still be available at this time.)

Location

When campus is open,  the Writing Center is located in the University  Library North Building, 3rd floor
