Italie Torres

Italie graduated Cum Laude in the Fall of 2019. Since then she has graduated with honors with a Master’s of Business and an emphasis in Organizational Development. With her degree and work experience she has landed a position as a Consultant/Project Coordinator in Information Technology.

Regarding her time at Dominguez Hills, she states “My experience as CSUDH was life changing in the best of ways. I decided to study History because I felt it would help me to develop a global mindset. With the mentorship of Dr. Murillo, Dr. Namala, Dr. Talamante, Dr. Alavarez, and Raul Rubio (among others) I was able to gain real world experience in research and related internships, including a semester abroad in Cuba. The research, critical thinking, and writing skills I obtained has allowed me to branch outside of history and dive into my future career in Organizational Development.”
