Microsoft Software

Microsoft software is available to all CSUDH Students through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching.  To access, go to the web portal https://aka.ms/devtoolsforteaching and sign in using your campus email and password. 

Some of the software available:

  • Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
  • Visual Studio
  • Project Professional
  • Visio
  • MS SQL

Here are the steps students can follow in order to access the portal.

  1. Go to https://azureforeducation.microsoft.com/devtools
  2. Click on the blue “Sign In” button.
  3. Enter the school-issued e-mail address along with the password
  4. Click the radio button to agree with the new terms and conditions.  The next page will be the Education Hub.

VMWare Virtualization Software 

The Computer Science Department is part of the VMWare Academic Software Licensing Program.  You will need an account if not created for a course, e-mail Ken Leyba kleyba@csudh.edu with your request and include your major.
