Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI)

CSUDH is one of the founding institutions for the Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI). We have supported CAHSI’s mission and goal since 2006. In 2018, CAHSI received funding from the NSF, one of only five in the inaugural year to be designed as a National INCLUDES alliance. Currently, CSUDH is the Lead institution of the West region

The core purpose of the Computing Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institutions (CAHSI) is to create a unified voice in an effort to consolidate the strengths, resources, and concerns of CAHSI institutions that are committed to increase the number of Hispanics who pursue and complete baccalaureate and advanced degrees in computing areas. We are a network of institutions across the nation that share the same purposes and beliefs.

We believe,

  • In preparing Hispanic students with the technical qualifications and real-world experiences
  • In growing a geographically dispersed network of partners to achieve lasting results that inclusiveness must accompany diversity

At CSUDH, we have our CAHSI student group community, join us via ToroLink to see us in action!
