Housing Reapplication 

Summer 2022 and Academic Year 2022-23 applications opened on MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2022. 

If you are a current Summer 2022 resident and wish to cancel your License Agreement and move out of Housing before the end of Summer, please contact Ayesha Marcel, Associate Director of Housing Operations, at for more information and instructions. 

Please refer to the table below for all important dates and deadlines for current/returning residents.

SUMMER 2022 & ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23 

Priority Application Dates

March 28 - April 29, 2022 for continuing/returning CSUDH students.

Security Deposit Due Date


Room Fee Payment Due Dates

Summer 2022: May 11, 2022 and June 10, 2022.

Fall 2022: July 11, 2022.

Spring 2023: December 11, 2022.

SUMMER 2022 Move-In Dates

Wednesday May 25 - Thursday, May 26, 2022 for current resident room changes. 

Friday, May 27, 2022 for NEW student check-ins.

FALL 2022 Move-In Dates

Wednesday, August 17 - Thursday, August 18, 2022 for current resident room changes.

Thursday, August 25, 2022* for students NEW to CSUDH (first-year and transfer).

Saturday, August 27, 2022 for continuing/returning CSUDH students. 

* The move-in date for NEW students has been changed to THURSDAY, AUGUST 25, 2022 (from August 26, 2022), effective 7/21/2022.

All dates are subject to change.

* Current residents who re-apply for Housing do NOT have to pay another Security Deposit.

Applications received after the above-noted priority deadlines will be waitlisted.

As a reminder, all students living on campus are REQUIRED to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Self-Certification form on their portal. This self-certification provides the campus with critical information needed to maintain a safe campus environment. Failure to complete the COVID-19 Vaccination Self-Certification form will result in the cancellation of your License Agreement.

CSUDH has also implemented a COVID-19 surveillance testing program, which requires students in University Housing to undergo MANDATORY weekly testing, regardless of vaccination status. All current Housing residents are also required to complete a daily COVID-19 symptom self-screening using the iToros mobile app.
