Spring 2021 Housing Update

Housing will continue to operate in a limited capacity for Spring 2021, with approved new residents scheduled to move in on January 22. If you had put your 2020-21 application on hold until Spring semester, but are not going to be living on campus this spring, you may log into the Housing Portal to officially cancel their application.

If you still require on-campus housing this spring in order to complete your online or in-person classes, please submit an application (if you never applied for 2020-21) and email us at housing@csudh.edu

Please also read our Housing Deadlines & Application Checklist for more information.

NOTE: Effective January 11, 2021, CSUDH has implemented a COVID-19 surveillance testing program, which requires students in University Housing to undergo MANDATORY weekly testing. All current Housing residents are also required to complete a daily COVID-19 symptom self-screening using the iToros mobile app.

Winter Break 2020-21

Current residents staying on for Spring 2021 MUST submit a Winter Break Application to let Housing know whether or not they intend to be on campus during Winter Break 2020-21 (December 12, 2020 - January 21, 2021).

Students who opt to leave campus for Winter Break will not be able to return to Housing until January 22, 2021 at 9:00 am at the earliest.

NOTE: Winter Break housing is only available to students living on campus for Fall 2020. Occupancy for new residents approved for Spring 2021 housing will begin on Friday, January 22, 2021.
